A .06 is below the legal standard .08. There's two entities in action here, you have the DMV trying to take away your license for allegedlly driving DUI and you have the court who wants to punish you. Over in the DMV side since you were not over the legal limit, the DMV will not take away your license no problem, let's talk about the court however if you end up pleading guilty to either 23152A or 23152B of the vehicle code that action will trigger an automatic suspension of your license through the DMV legal up in Sacramento witch will end up in a four month susension. So on your case being below a .08 you were actually an .06 DMV will not suspend it, however if you don't handle your case right it can end up being suspended through a confiction in court.
